Here are some of the frequently asked questions we get from our customers and potential customers, along with helpful answers that can guide you in your choice of industrial services:
What Is a Dewatering Box For?
A dewatering box looks like a regular roll-off container at a glance, but it includes an internal steel screen on all sides and the bottom of the container. The purpose of a dewatering box is to separate water from sludge, slurry or other wet materials.
In many industries and with many materials, safe and responsible treatment of waste and contaminated materials requires the separation of solids and water. One of our rental dewatering boxes may be just what you’re looking for to take care of your dewatering needs.
What Is a Frac Tank?
The term ‘frac’ tank comes from the original use of these large waterproof containers: They hold water for use fracturing wells and underground passages.
Thanks to their solid construction and large capacities (up to 20,000 gallons in some cases), a frac tank is also suitable for storing and transporting any type of fluid, oil or chemical. A frac tank can’t be used for drinking water, but it can hold a large volume of process water for other industrial and commercial uses.
What Should I Do If There Is an Oil Spill
When an oil spill occurs, you have a legal and moral requirement to notify authorities so that they can ensure the protection of citizens in the vicinity. Call the National Response Center at 1-800-424-8802 and explain the nature, location and extent of your spill.
The sooner you do this, the sooner they can take the necessary steps to limit the environmental impact. When possible, use your emergency spill kits and oil spill equipment to reduce the spread of the oil into sewers, drains and waterways. For issues requiring professional assistance, be sure to contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
What Size Roll-Off Container Do I Need?
The size of roll-off container you need comes down to the amount of material or debris you need to store. We have rental roll-off containers in common sizes and dimensions, such as 10-yard, 15-yard, 20-yard and 40-yard models. We always suggest our customers estimate the volume of their storage needs and account for approximately 25% extra or greater to be ready in case of any additional storage requirements. We are always available to help provide additional or larger roll-off containers if you need them.
